| Campus Safety Report Monday 1/13
-At 1:30 p.m. Campus Safety investigated a two vehicle accident on the campus roadway near Noordewier/VanderWerp Residence Hall.
A vehicle backing out of a parking space was struck by a westbound vehicle causing damage to the westbound vehicle.
Wednesday 1/15
-At 10:45 a.m. A faculty member reported that sometime between 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 1/14 and 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, 1/15 someone used her office PC in Hiemenga Hall.
The faculty member reported that when she arrived at her office on today’s date she found the office door locked but ajar.
-At 3:50 p.m. a resident of Schultze/Eldersveld Resident Hall reported a suspicious person wandering in the area outside the residence hall. The suspicious person was described as a male in his 40’s wearing a denim jacket and hat. A check of the area failed to fine the person.
Thursday 1/16
-At 1:25 p.m. Campus Safety responded to a request for medical assistance in the Physical Education Building. A student working out in the weight room fell while running on the treadmill. The victim was treated at the scene.
Friday 1/17
-At 12:30 p.m. Campus Safety responded to a request for medical assistance in the Commons Lobby.
A visitor had fallen on steps at the Fine Arts Center and suffered facial lacerations. The victim was treated at the scene.
-At 12:35 p.m. a student reported that at 9 a.m. on Thursday, 1/16 he was in his vehicle in the Fine Arts Center parking lot waiting for a vehicle to pull out of a parking space.
The student stated that as he waited a vehicle parked alongside his vehicle backed out of the parking space and struck his vehicle on the passenger side causing damage. | |
