Food Forum: this past Thursday, senate invited Rick Balfour, the director of dining services and Vice President Shirley Hoogstra to generate a healthy discussion about the dining services between the student body and the dining hall staff. If you have any questions about Student Life for VP Hoogstra, you can ask on Nov. 17.

Night of Worship: The first Night of Worship was successfully hosted this past Saturday night. Night of Worship is two-hour long worship service planned by the students of Calvin College. The next Night of Worship is scheduled in November.

Masquerade Dance: Have the wildest Halloween possible on Calvin’s campus for only $2 (at the door and pre-sale). Look for our table in Johnny’s the week before or swing by the senate office to pick up your ticket before we sell out! The event is scheduled for Oct. 29.

Occupied/vacant signs for unisex bathrooms: In order to prevent that moment of awkwardness, senate is working on putting occupied/vacant signs on some of the unisex bathrooms on campus.

Taste of Calvin: Senate is hosting an event with the dining hall to give upperclassmen a chance to try out the new dining hall food. The ticket is only $2 and you can try out four different entrees! The event is scheduled for Oct. 27.
